This is a post card I made for my youngest son on the 5th of July, 2008, he is in Montana at his older brothers for the summer. I love to fussy cut and do applique as you can see,,,lol. Willow, my quiltin buddy said, " yeah its ok mom "
STOP THE BUS!
This is what your post card will look like IF you make it wrong. I used batting inside instead of fuseble for one thing. I"m thinking that is why I had such a hard time getting it to NOT get stuck when trying to finsh the edging.
Hummm, sew and learn I always say !
( I have decided to go a head and send this one just to let my son laugh, but I will work fast to get another out in the mail so he can say, WOW, shes been working hard to make me STOP laughing) hehe
Still wondering if I should hide this one or just go ahead and send it,,,, hummmmm
Just remember, its my very 1st one ! and it will always give ya a great laugh !
They say...
"It's the thought that counts"
But, really???
This is my 1st Fabric Post card that I made for my son who is in Iraq.
I did this ,,,, yes, in the evening, but I wasn't tired. Its just that I could'nt get it to keep going. It kept getting " stuck".
I had at first after looking at it, decided NOT to send this to him, but then after looking at it, I figured, why not ? He can always use something to laugh about at a time like this and who better to laugh at when your a kid ?
YOUR MOM !
So, here's to you son, Happy Laughing !
hehe
Notice the stitching on the packages???
