Hello, and welcome to my Cross Stitching page!
Here you will find cross-stitches that I have completed or am in the process of doing for myself, family and friends.
I take great pride in the cross-stitching that I do because it takes SO long to do them and sometimes it can be a very daunting task! Some of them can take as little as a few hours, or a few days, and some of them can take excess up to months to complete.
You'll often times see me refering to my cross-stitches as "x-stitch" it just shortens it a bit for me ;)
I hope that you enjoy my work, and if you have any quesitons or suggestions, please don't hesitate to write me.
I would also greatly enjoy seeing your cross-stitching! Please feel free to visit our forum and share your creations with us!
Happy Crafting!!
~Melisa

The images are done in a thumbnail gallery style, so you can click on them and they will become bigger, more detailed pics :) Also, I usually post all NEW additions to my page at the bottom of the page, so scroll down for updates! You'll always know when my pages were last updated by looking in the top left corner of each page.

This is an x-stitch I did for myself about two years ago. I have 4 extra kits so if I ever have children, I can make them the same ones with their names and dates of birth. The only problem I had is that I ran out of the blue and I couldn't remember the exact number of it, so I couldn't do my year of birth. :(
If I remember correctly, this x-stitch took me about three weeks, on and off, to complete.
This is an x-stitch I did for my little sister. She LOVES coffee. Hot, cold, and I'm sure she probably eats the coffee beans raw too. LOL
I finished this about three or four months ago and she'll get it for christmas this year. :)
This is my most recent x-stitch. I finished this on June 27, 2008. This is a christmas gift that will be given to mine and my hubbys best friend this year.
This is my current WIP (work in progress). This will be a christmas gift for my grandma. It is 18 x 16 inches in size and there are a total of 46 colors. It took me 3 hours alone to sort all the strands of colors after I opened the kit. To keep an accurate SAL (stitch along) report, I will start my stitching on this project on July 1st. The first picture in this set is what the finished product is supposed to look like. It might differ a little bit bit because I plan on adding some darker purples in that I've purchased.
If you join our forum, then you'll be able to follow my progress in my SAL journal post.
Besides the x-stitches below, I currently have 9 other kits that are waiting to be stitched. I can't wait to get to started! These are pics for all but one of them, because I can't let my ma see it (her christmas gift).
Some of the pics are of the actual package and some are of what the finished x-stitch will look like. I just saved the images from the website I purchased them from.

This is an x-stitch I did for my friend Mary's daughter. It was about 18 x 20 in size and took me almost 3 months on and off to complete.
This x-stitch is HUGE. haha! It is 35 inches tall and 15 inches wide. It took me 2 months to complete. It really wasn't that hard to do, because there wasn't a lot of detail, but it was difficult just because it was really big
This one I call "petiet 4's" They are small perfect 4 x 4 inch squares. It only took me a couple of weeks to do this. They aren't framed in a regular frame, rather, they are framed between 2 plates of glass and held together with screws in each corner. VERY classy!
This is a kit that a friend got me when she went to tennesee. I will be doing this set of 2 squares for hubby. They are 20 x 20 in size.
Stitcher at heart, if I remember right, was my 5th x-stitch. It might have been more than that, but not by much. Unfortunatly, since we've moved across country, I have not been able to find this x-stitch. I have been looking online trying to find the kit again, and I have not been able to find it. :(
Nature Patchwork. I LOVE this x-stitch.
This is another one that I have not been able to find since we moved, and I can't seem to find online anywhere. :( I think the size of this one was around 15 by 10 inches, but I'm not positive on that. I do know it took me almost 5 months to complete.
*When you click on the thumbnails, it will open a box (it will NOT remove you from this page!) and if you "mouse over" the pics a NEXT button will appear to get to the next picture.
